Exercise One:
Exercise One:
Exercise Two: Consumer and participant oriented models of evaluation will be most important for this project. It is important the content participant’s create is something that is mobile device friendly and appealing to the course user. For the consumer, it is important that their instructor will be able to produce quality materials that are mobile device friendly.

Who are your stakeholders?
The primary stakeholders for this project are the designer and instructor (myself) and the secondary stakeholders are the students (a number of university instructors) participating in the course.

Who are the evaluators and reviewers?
For this project, we will have a total of three evaluators and two reviewers.
The evaluator group will consist of myself and two subject matter experts.
The reviewer group will consist of one subject matter expert and one participant.

When and how should formative evaluation take place?
A One-to-One tryout will take place with three learners once the initial materials have been uploaded and the site established. The designer will be interested in learning what the participants have to say about the effectiveness and appeal of the course. Users will also discuss the site graphics and layout with the instructional designer.
After revising the materials based on feedback with the One-to-One participants, a small group trial will take place. This group will be comprised of five learners and the site designer. Students will look at the material and create a sample project to test course effectiveness.
Lastly, after receiving feedback from the small group trial, all materials will be uploaded and presented to a large group of initial participants. This group will also conduct a sample project and give feedback on site content.

What decisions need to be made as the WBI design plan and prototype are developed and revised?
As we test the materials with course participants, it will be important to uncover what materials the user believe are most beneficial and those they believe can be completed in the time provided for the workshop. We will be conducting a number of surveys and interviews and this information will be stored in a database accessible to all stakeholders. A log will also be created when decisions are made reflecting what content will end up in the final version of the class and why/why not the material will appear.

The summative evaluation will help the course designer and University decide whether it should continue to offer the mobile-device materials course. It will also help the University decide whether it should order more courses of a similar nature. This summative evaluation should be conducted when the first workshop has been conducted and final participant portfolios and projects have been received.
